We are working on a number of projects including –
- a Campaign for a new Bus Service to help reduce reliance on cars
- carrying out water quality testing as part of a project coordinated by the Coquet River Action Group
- Promoting ways for people to increase biodiversity in their own gardens and other spaces
- working with the Northumberland Wildlife Trust and Vyner Park to survey and manage a wildflower meadow
- working with a local farmer to explore how we can create more wildlife corridors and support our hedgerows
- taking part in tree growing with Seeds2Trees
- encouraging everyone to reduce the amount of waste they produce
- we’re also part of the Northumberland Green Hub.
