The Power of Ponds

Dr Mike Jeffries, freshwater ecologist and renowned pond expert, is coming to talk to SNAC at our March 17th meeting.

Mike is a Northumberland Visiting Fellow at Northumbria University and Trustee at Northumberland Wildlife Trust.

Mike’s talk is called The Power of Ponds and he’ll will be talking about why ponds are so important for wildlife – and covering other topics such as their role in burying carbon.

Be sure to get your seat early – this is a chance to ask an expert all your questions about ponds.
